BB Light provides a number of LED pendant lights. Some LED pendant lights can seem quite similar to chandeliers, however, an LED pendant light is much less bulky (and can be much more effective!). Furthermore, as our pendant lights are LEDs, they are energy-saving and longer-lasting.
LED pendant lights are also known as drop lights or suspended lights. They may be made out of glass, metal, wood, plastic, or even concrete. The lighting fixture hangs from ceilings suspended by a cord, metal rod, or chain. Although some people choose to only use one pendant light, there are times that multi-light pendants (or cluster pendants) are useful, too.
An LED pendant light is good at acting like a spotlight, as it usually provides directional down lighting. Due to this, they are commonly used in kitchens (such as above kitchen islands) and in sports bars (such as above snooker tables). However, they can be used in numerous environments. This includes a minimalistic home, stylish cottage, modern office, or an industrial space. They can even be used to light display cabinets! So although these lights are often used in kitchens and dining areas, where you place them is largely a stylistic decision.
When buying an LED pendant light, you should bear in mind the purpose of the lighting and the location you want to install it. The type of LED pendant light you choose can depend on the architectural design of your space, the statement you want to create, and where you want a room’s focal point to be. When you take the time to determine the ambience you want your lighting to create, you will be able to more easily choose what kind of lighting to buy.
To get the most out of your lighting, the placement of your lights is also very important. Considering where an LED pendant light is placed will mean that you will be able to get the best results. You should have an idea about the number of LED pendant lights you want to have, and this will partly depend on the other type of lighting installations already in a room. For example, if an area is already quite well lit, you might not want to install many more lights. However, if an area needs more illumination, you may consider buying several. Additionally, the width of your chosen fixture should also be noted, as this may dictate if you can install more than one light (and if so, how many).
The length of the pendant is also something that needs to be examined. For example, in a room with high ceilings, a longer LED pendant light is suitable. However, if there are lower ceilings, you should make sure that the light has a shorter wire or can be adjusted. Furthermore, check that an LED pendant light is high enough to not block a view and become impractical, but also low enough to sufficiently disperse light.
Our dangler miniature cone LED pendant lights have been designed by our founder, Ian Bibby. Being made in England, we are able to easily provide this product to our customers around the UK.
To cater to various tastes, we provide this dangler LED pendant light in blue, pink, grey, and black. Other colours may also be available, so feel free to ask if we can accommodate a specific request. Additionally, although the ceiling rose is black as standard, if required, it can be printed in the same colour as the dangler.
Each dangler is supplied with two metres of thin wire, only 2.5mm in diameter. The suspension wire can then be trimmed and adjusted so that it fits perfectly into your space, and any special wire lengths can be configured to order.
We hope to hear from you soon and provide you with your perfect LED pendant light.
